Birthday summers
Our older son's birthday is in the summer, a tough time to have a bday in Arizona. We made a splash pad and had a paw patrol birthday.

Our sons's unbirthday
Since our son's birthday is in the summer, his school celebrates it in the last couple weeks of school. Theme: paw patrol. Music: by the principal. Our son's show and share: his mommy who surprised him by showing up for his party! She brought some of her art to talk about color.

Treasure Hunt
Today we had lots of errands to do. So, what does my wonderful wife do? She makes a treasure map with all our errands and promised a treasure when we return. We followed the map to target, babiesrus, Costco and Safeway. When we got home Grant ran everything to its place and found the treasure Mommy had laid out. Chocolate!

Sedona for Snow
We were in Sedona for New Year's week. Hal and our son had the week off from school and Christina decided to take the time off as well. We found out there was snow in the forecast. We enjoyed the time (especially the snow on New Year's Eve Day and New Year's Day). We had a visit from Grandma and Grandpa and went on the Red Rocks jeep tour the day before it snowed and then did snowy things, snow angels, snow men, snow ball fights. It was a wonderful break.
